1. Can anyone recognize the following phrase from a TIS tape loop?
This was logged from Tombstone, AZ on a night when conditions on 1610
were very good (WPSE479 Needles, CA and WPMZ421 Amarillo, TX were both
coming in!).
Female announcer, tape loop included "... last occurred in 1898...
1924... 9 miles or more..."
Kind of a long shot, but we have several active DXers in AZ and NM so
you never know...
2. Male announcer, tape loop included the phrase "5 miles south of
I-40." Very likely the Meteor Crater station, WPZT927-AZ.
