According to Radio and Records, the topic of HD
radio has been dropped from today's meeting of the FCC. They are expected
to concentrate on the breakup of one time cable giant Adelphia
Communications.
Time Warner Cable and Comcast are expected to
absorb the remainder of Adelphia Communications however this requires FCC
approval in order for this to take place.
HD radio is expected to come up in the future
however as of this writing , it is not known when this will occur.
