[IRCA] FCC

I was debating on mentioned this. (I may regreat it), but I was told
today that the FCC is meeting on Friday and they may (A good chance of
it), OK IBOC for night operation. According to the CE I spoke to today,
this is going to be a total nightmare, he told me.  For the record, he
does not like IBOC, as most do not. He apolozed for the hash, but using
IBOC, there is nothing that can be done about it. I asked him "off the
record", does he think IBOC on AM will last? His answer, absolutely NOT!
His comment on IBOC" It is awful".
He is a very well known engineer in the industry, but he asked me not to
mention his name. By the way, the only people that want IBOC are the
"suits" as he stated. No engineer wants to deal with it or try to
maintain it.
