Someone previously mentioned hearing traffic reporter Amelia Earhart on
some of the Denver Clear Channel stations. Here is part of a news
release that I received this morning.
WE FINALLY FOUND HER!
850 KOA has discovered Amelia Earhart - right in our own traffic
department! Beginning July 10, Denver's Amelia Earhart will be taking
over as 850 KOA's traffic reporter in the air. Although our Amelia
doesn't have quite the notoriety of her namesake, there are a few
similarities - like the fact that Amelia is a seasoned pilot!
