Thanks for the clarification. Yes, Politics" is what it is all about.
The X  band has not worked out to be the best thing. But still a lot of
people do not have radios that cover the band. KAST 1370 (New NW BCers)
Astoria was looking at an all Sports station on 1700 (KCHT), but
apparently decided to put the Sports on 1230 and take their money to put
on a new FM station in the area (103.9) sometime back. The two CPs for a
50 KWer on 1570 and  10 KWer on 1700 were scraped I guess. I am sure
glad about that too!
