Hi Scott,
Good Morning, hi. (16:30 here). This KBPS/KPSU arrangement sort of goofed
me up several months back. What you said is correct, but I thought I'd
qualify my original statements as also correct. "Insufficient" may be a
better word since the internal arrangement's between the University and High
School wasn't mentioned. Both the full KBPS facilities and the un-licensed
AM KPSU call and transmitter are said to be located in Portland. If the
University's part of the deal was off the air, I'd be the last one to know,
hi.
So it would appear that the University students use only the KBPS studios
(not the transmitter) and then feed it to the Univerity carrier-current
transmitter.

I finally snagged this one.
I believe they were playing the song "Locomotion" (maybe not) but after the
song ended, nice ID "KBPS - Portland" at 0359 PDT. (per audio clip) hi.
I didn't think I was ever going to catch this one. (my opinion)
Note: I think this station was mentioned with regard to KPSU within the last
week or so, plus I also had questions a while back. (on this group list)
KPSU is also in Portland on 1450 and runs a carrier current station, slogan:
"Portland's City Wide College Radio". (per radio-locator)
