Re: [IRCA] NRC List?

I fully agree.
It's the adventure Mike, It's like someone driving to Las Vegas, then there's me who would prefer to take dirt roads from here to there. Their thought is to be in Vegas
ASAP, for me Vegas is only 5% of the fun. As listeners, they don't know what DXing is.  It's their loss.

Patrick mentioned NASWA. I generally understand about the shortwave situation. DX'ers just aren't the focus anymore.  Less stations, less listeners. Makes me also think of the FCC dropping the morse code requirement for hams. Some of the new-school stuff is neat, but my roots are definitely old-school. Meanwhile, I will DX away.

Caught KMBI at the ToH and CJYM before that, both new for me- thanks to Patrick for mentioning 1330.

Whenever I mention DXing to someone under 30-35, they always say they can listen to a stream over the internet and they don't see the point of listening to a scratchy signal over the radio.  DXing just don't have the magic it used to for most people.
