I was on Okinawa 1976-79 and my first "official" station log was
VOA-1180 (later 1178) near Okuma (resort area). My location was south
of the prefectural capital city of Naha (more or less: 26-12-01
N 127-41-51 E) and it was an easy log. Same for the VOA-Philippines
on 1140. Days of yore.
