[IRCA] Yet another R8 - should I?

I have the opportunity to snag (yet-another) Drake R8 receiver
for around ~400(US) dollars
.in better condition than the one I have...

Question is: Should I?

Other than the R2000 Kenwood, I do
not have a receiver that comes close..
and it would justify the acquisition of
(yet-another) Wellbrook ALA100 antenna!
