TA reception hasn’t returned to the amazing levels we
had earlier this season, but I did note some traces of audio last night on 585
& 684, no doubt from Spain… more interesting to me are the strong
signals I’ve been getting on 535 from presumed Grenada lately…
audio is muffled but seems to be English, with talk mostly by a woman around
0420 UTC (10:20pm Central time) Wednesday night. Anybody know if they’ve
upgraded/improved their facilities? They certainly aren’t as strong as
Turks & Caicos-530, but I haven’t noticed them being this audible
since the huge auroral conditions of 1989-91! Randy Stewart |
