The weirdness is that the senders are geting the bounce messages, and not
just the IRCA list bot itself. The "failure to establish SMTP connection"
is really a server-to-server issue and not an indication of an address being
bad or out of date. It looks to me like a problem with the "big Internet"
and not particularly with any one user or account.
The "Sorry, I wasn't able to establish an SMTP connection." message is the
golden clue that means that the worldnet.att.net server was losing its
connection from trueswitch. If the message is to be believed then it's not
a user issue at all.
It's a good illustration why headers are vital in diagnosing this stuff.
