The FCC records for WSRF are confusing, because it's licensed at a 
site that doesn't exist anymore, has been operating from another site 
under an STA, and now holds a CP to move to a third site.

Here's how I piece it all together:

The "licensed" record for WSRF is at its old seven-tower 10 kW/5 kW 
site (six day, three night, two shared) near Broward Community 
College, where I-595 and Florida's Turnpike meet. Jerry Kiefer 
reported on the NRC list in 12/2004 that that site had been destroyed 
and replaced with housing.

After that, WSRF started to diplex with WFLL 1400 at 19th Street and 
23rd Avenue. It was reportedly only using 400 watts or so at that 
location. I'm guessing that's where it's on the air right now.

On 1/10/06, WSRF was granted a CP to move to the site of WAVS 1170, 
on the west side of the Turnpike just south of I-595, very close to 
the old 1580 site. From there, it'll run 10 kW day, 1.5 kW night into 
four towers. As I said earlier, I'd be *very* surprised if they were 
on the air from there this quickly. I'm hearing from some AM station 
owners I know that the companies that make diplexing equipment and 
directional phasors are backed up on orders. It's held up some AM 
construction projects around here, like the WYSL 1040 power increase.
