Title: RE: [NRC-AM] 1134 audio in Oklahoma
Here, 455 miles NE of you, TA cx are not as good as the past few nights. 1134 and 1314 aren't close to good enuf for audio, and 1521 wasn't strong enuf either. I have much more low band activity than you, but is is mostly just hets, although Ireland 567 (one of the best TA's here this season) is at threshhold audio levels. Low band targets for you midwesterners should include, Spain 585 and 531 (on 531 Swiss, and Algeria can also be heard) and Spain 684, as well as 693 from the UK.

I just checked around 2110-2115 CST (0310-15 UTC) and I was getting maybe some traces of audio on 1134, and noted weak hets on 1189, 1512 and 1521, but no audio.  Couldn't scrounge up any Eurocarriers on the lower band.

Hearing man and woman talking on 1134 2044-2049CST 22JAN06 (0244-0249Z
23JAN06) here in Tulsa this evening with deep fades that cause the R8 to
lose sync on the signal. Audio a bit muffled and can't make out the
language but presume Croatia. This is the first audio I've noted on TA
frequencies since last fall....I'm surprised as well since I'm using
shorter wires now. I took the 130 foot wires down around Christmas time
in order to use the baluns to give me some noise reduction.
