Yes, it could have been much worse. The limb itself missed the house,
the branches the go out from the limb is what hit everything. It still
is not daylight here. I woke up a bit ago, so I did not get much sleep.
The Shur Pines grow, where the main tree goes up and up a foot of two
another part of the tree with extend out, sometimes almost as big as the
rest of the tree. The limb on another tree broke off a couple weeks back
between my neighbor's house and mine. But there was nothing for it to
hit.
One nice thing too is the powerlines are all underground, so no
chance of a tree hitting powerlines here too.
Even though I am up, DX is no good. I did tune across the band. A few
TP hets and that is it.
