Re: [IRCA] OT: New Ham Call Sign

Congratulations on a very appropriate call sign.

It's to bad that music is not allowed on amateur radio frequencies because in this case it would be great to get Jam to produce a jingle or a name shout that would announce your call when you keyed your transmitter.  That would certainly get you known to the world.

Now back to reality.

Subject: [IRCA] OT: New Ham Call Sign

Greetings all,

I can?t begin to tell you how excited I am.  The FCC approved my application yesterday for new amateur radio call letters.  Effective immediately, my new call letters are:  W2FIL.  Appropriate, don?t you think?

Now all I have to do is come up with a dazzling QSL Card!

73,

Rene
