[IRCA] Request from the GM of WXCT-990

The following message is forwarded (with permission) from Mr. Charlie Profit, the General Manager at WXCT-990 in Southington, CT.  If you can answer his question, write him directly at charlieprofit@xxxxxxxxxxxxx  Obviosuly, a station GM who wants to print QSL cards is our friend!!!  Also note that WXCT is now Talk (presumably English) and not Spanish as listed in the current NRC AM Log.

Hey Charlie-

Well, I have heard the Southington station on occasion but not for a long
time and definitely not during this current WALE silent period. Does WXCT have a 
Spanish format as listed in the NRC AM Log?  I'll check for it and let you
know if I hear it. What is your position with WXCT?

PS- My prep school roommate in 1966 was from Southington.  He was a good
basketball player who told stories of playing against former NBA star Calvin
Murphy while in high school.  I believe Murphy was from the Danbury area.  My
roommate
said Murphy could dunk the ball in high school - and he was only around 5
foot 8 or so!
