Please don't feel as though you have to apologize. I'm the one who should be 
apologizing as I had no idea concerning the circumstances. Even so, I would 
still like to get together in some form or fashion and put a name with a 
face and shake your hand. As I said earlier, we have plenty of time, but if 
you choose not to meet with me, I'll understand. Take care.

P.S. And just so you know I do think you would be worth the trouble.

That was supposed to be a private posting to Elbert New, but I sent it to 
all you too. Oh, well. Even if I were a liar, the truth would come out 
anyway. So at least if you live around these parts, you will understand why 
I don't invite you over or come over and infest YOUR DX den and throw a 
drunk and swap lies and show fabricated QSLs. I abbreviated the story for 
Bert somewhat to keep the s message short. It's actually somwhat longer, but

Hey Bert,

If we meet somewhere on Outer Banks, well, I CAN manage it. Or if we meet 
here. I can manage that too, easy. No good for you. How about Grifton 
detention cell. That's
possible, too; but I don't know if the GPD wants to bother with me.

The reason is that, being a cancer patient recovering I can talk right now. 
But because my soft palate is fried by radiation therapy (That's fixable, 
but I don't want no MDs fooling with me right now), my talk is somewhat hard 
to make out...something like a cleft-palate type person).

Right now, right as I write this, I cannot talk at all. Have to write most 
everything down.

So it's not worth the trouble, as you can see.

But I can e-mail with the best of them.
