Great job on overcoming the PL-380 issue to track down a decent list of TP-DX on your second day!
In consideration of the modest propagation and your "on the beach" repair job, I'm sure that your Tofino DXing results were about as good as anyone could accomplish. Next month in Hawaii I'll be testing out a new 4' PVC base for the "Frequent Flyer" FSL's, which should boost up the travel DXing results for all of us once it is mass produced. Have a safe trip back!
