[IRCA] TP 15 Sep Victoria version.

A more DU morning, with mostly big gun Asians as well. I'm sure that digging would have found more than reported here, but at poor strength at best.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

594 JOAK man in Japanese 1310UT, briefly at this level

612 4QR woman DU English, woman on phone //702 1318UT; still pretty reasonable for the fanfare and ABC news at 1400UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

576 2RN man in DU English 1315UT

702 2BL woman talking //612 1318UT

828 JOBB man in Japanese, piano music, pips,NHK mention 1320UT

972 HLCA woman and man in Korean 1337UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

747 JOIB man talking //828 1328UT

828 3GI country music //594 1311UT; moments earlier, both channels had Japanese only

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

531 woman talking. DU English intonation 1304UT

549 2CR country music //594, 828 1312UT

558 HLQH female vocal 1321UT //603 both pretty weak

585 7RN man talking //576 1313UT; faint fanfare trickled through at 1400UT

594 3WV country music //828 1311UT; still there with faint fanfare at 1400UT

603 HLSA female vocal 1321UT //558

693 JOAB piano and pips 1300UT //828

774 JOUB barely there today; unusual

891 5AN ABC fanfare 1330UT

963 CRI faint traces of chimes and fanfare 1300UT; odd appearance, as Asians not that good this morning

1017 man talking island language? 1333UT

1116 4BC likely, with 6 pips at 1300UT, pretty sure that woman said "Macquarie news"

1242 man mumbling 1336UT, too much splash for language guess, but likely JOLF?

1566 woman singing 1259UT, likely HLAZ?

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

567 819 864 873 936 945 954 981  1053  1134 1143 1323  1575 seemed to be Asian;
558 567 621 738 756 846 855 1098 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
