[IRCA] MW Aug 31 in Alberta, with one oddity.

The new Ozy Radio on 5045 was like a local around 0700 ut on Aug 31 so I
thought I should make an effort to get up around 1200 and check the state
of the mw spectrum.  This was just before the start of a fairly significant
solar upset.  Our sunrise is around 1240.

Antenna was a 1000' west beverage and using the Perseus sdr. These were all
recorded from 1158 to 1202.  Hets on almost every channel, but audio was
mostly limited to upper band.  Audio on 1584.023, 1503, 1494, 1458, 1386,
1332, 1215, 1206, 1179, 1116, 1107, 702, and 531. As Nick would say, mostly
ravaged by splatter...

I checked again and made another recording thru 1230 but nothing much had
changed.

One oddity was 1104.960 with DU sounding audio, at both 1200 and 1230. Just
on the upper edge of some IBOC below 1105 and then some audio on 1107 so
not much to work with. Yl with news in English past 1200.  Google doesn't
give me any clues in a quick search and nothing on MW offsets - that I
could find.
