Long weekends for me are family events, when my kids can fly in or we can
meet somewhere. Were conventions over a regular weekend, I would be more
likely to attend. Since I have lots of flyer miles, the ticket is not the
issue... in fact, getting award travel or good fares is easier outside of
the peak flying periods.

Conventions are perfect for me.  I like to travel and I like to meet up with
