[IRCA] TP 26 Aug Victoria version
As Tim Tromp observed, a very DU morning. Probably things got missed....
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 3WV interview with man by woman 1312UT //612
612 4QR "ABC radio across Australia", Nightlife mention 1305UT
702 2BL "on ABC, Radio Sydney" 1310UT by man
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
576 2RN sports then weather // 702 1304UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
585 7RN DU English by woman //576 1327UT, delayed by over a second
603 R. Waatea countish music //765 1319UT
756 RNZ National man and woman talking //675
774 3LO man DU English 1249UT, no parallels, but definite fanfare and
pips at 1300UT
891 woman DU English, another on phone 1326UT; 5AN?
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
531 man talking slowly 1310-1UT, pretty sure DU English
549 2CO pop music //828 with a slight delay 1257UT
558 woman talking, Pacific islands language? 1318UT
585 woman talking DU English inflection 1302UT, not //576; also old
pop song "Young Girl" 1322UT, also not //576
621 3NR ABC news 1300-01UT //612
675 RNZ National man and woman talking //756
738 2NR pop music //828 and slightly delayed 1254UT
765 R. Kahungunu countryish music //603 1319UT
774 JOUB woman talking Japanese inflection, quite weak 1249UT under
3LO; NHK pips on hour under Aussie ones
828 3GI pop music //594 1253UT
846 2NR ABC news 1303UT
873 pop music 1313UT, likely DU judging by conditions
909 Star laid back pop music //963
963 Star laid back pop music //909
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
747 1566 seemed to be Asian;
792 855 882 1098 1503 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
Nick
