[IRCA] TP 12 April Victoria version
Mostly the big guns this morning, but there was a nice little lift
just after 1300UT that made things a bit more interesting. There
were lots of carriers, a number with audio traces, plus some second
tier audios and 1548 made a brief showing again to hold up the DU side.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 JOAK woman and man in Japanese, 1244UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
747 JOIB English lessons 1312UT
774 JOUB English lessons 1313UT
828 JOBB English lessons 1312UT
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese 1236UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
567 JOIK western pop ballad //594 1240UT
954 JOKR likely with man in Japanese 1236UT
1287 JOHR woman and man in Japanese 1311UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
666 JOBK woman and man talking //594 1301UT
891 JOHK woman and man talking //594 1250UT
972 woman and man talking, Korean? 1315UT. This never really left
the starting gate this morning.
1314 woman talking Japanese inflection 1304UT, another station too
with man talking?
1332 woman talking, Japanese inflection 1301UT
1548 woman talking, faded up then down 1311UT, sounded like DU English
1593 man talking, Chinese inflection, faded up 1301UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
603 657 702 873 1008 1053 1134 1143 1206 1323 1359 1386 1422 1431
1494 1503 1575 seemed to be Asian;
621 seemed DU
best wishes,
