[IRCA] TP 24 Dec Victoria version
Almost entirely Asian today around sunrise. The big guns had also
made an earlier appearance in the 1200-1420UT time frame.
Merry Christmas to all.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
747 JOIB man in Japanese 1511UT
774 JOUB man in Japanese 1536UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
567 JOIK man and woman in Japanese //594 (which was poorer just now) 1524UT
594 JOAK woman in Japanese after ballad 1535UT
1503 JOUK ballad fading up to woman in Japanese //594 (and better
strength), peaking at this level 1535UT
1566 HLAZ woman in Chinese 1550UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
828 JOBB woman in Japanese //747 at 1513UT
1116 soft music 1542UT, on west Flag only
1557 woman talking, Chinese inflection 1543UT
1575 briefly, one pop vocal segueing into another 1549UT, didn't
really sound like VoA 1549UT
1593 CNR1 man and woman talking, no parallel 1543-4UT, but by 1549UT,
6125 had faded up enough to establish a //
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
1098 1242 1386 1422 1458
best wishes,
Nick
