Re: [IRCA] Mystery time signal on 790 kHz

I hear 790 from Cuba quite often and with a big signal at times. The time
ticks seem to be much louder than the audio signal. The male or female
announcer will talk over the ticks and then pause as the Morse Code is
broadcast. This evening I heard them with a female announcer that was very
low. The "R R" Morse was clearly heard. The band is really hopping tonight
as I heard audio on 711 kHz with WOR on 710 and Radio Reloj on 570 under
WMCA. Many other signals as Brett mentioned plus getting them on the lower
side of the dial. Switzerland on 765 and Norway on 1314 both in (no IDs
heard) and presumed Grenada was peaking S7-S8 15 minutes ago- the best level
I have heard them in many years.
