[IRCA] TP 4 Oct Victoria version

Mostly Aussie again, with Zedders there too, including a rarely heard Star on 657 (sneaking past the splash), and a couple of mysteries on 792 and 1512. A couple of Asians faded up around 1400UT.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

612 4QR teletalk with man on phone 1351; still very good 1423UT. But often MIA as well, had to use 702 as a parallel quite often
702 2BL teletalk 1332 //594. Still pretty good 1414UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

567 RNZ National man and woman talking //756 1312UT
576 2RN man DU English at 1348UT // 621
738 likely Tahiti? jazzy pop music over teletalk 1353UT
891 5AN? teletalk 1350UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

549 2CR teletalk //612 1355UT
603 R. Waatea laid back music //765, then woman talking and more music 1334UT
621 3RN man talking , heard at this level both 1319 and 1330UT //846
738 2NR teletalk 1336UT //612 over/under presumed Tahiti
792 4RN last man standing, DU English, 1427UT, nulled 790 better with Vactrol. Heard also 1403UT w/news //612. But not heard parallel 576 at 1353UT when 792 had light vocal music and 576 had man talking. The latter was expected, not the former, as NSW went to daylight time on 2 October, but Queensland didn't, so not sure what was going on. (and had 612 // 702 and 594 etc at various times, even though Brisbane is now a different time.....so confusing)
846 2RN man talking //576 1316UT
972 HLCA woman in Korean 1403UT
1053 Korean jammer 1350UT
1116 4BC likely woman in DU English 1414UT
1287 JOHR likely man in Japanese 1411UT
1512 unID. female vocal pop music, not //576 or 846 1406UT
1566 laid back vocal music 1355UT, better on north Flag, faded down to what sounded like Chinese talk by man by 1400UT. HLAZ likely.

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

531 woman mumbling after island music 1312UT
558 Fiji? island vocal music 1345UT, in and out for about 5 minutes with talk and laid back vocal music. Much weaker on north Flag.
657 Star. woman talking //909 1404UT, creeping through 650/660 splash
684 2KP teletalk //702 with one second delay 1354UT
702 pop music, as ABC faded down for about 20 seconds, 1356UT, Magic?
774 3LO man talking 1316UT //702
882 slow female vocal 1311UT, if Star, no parallels
909 Star. woman talking //657 1404UT
1107 man on phone DU English inflection 1308UT
1242 JOLF cuckoo pips 1400UT, woman talking Japanese inflection
1422 slow vocal music 1401UT, perhaps JORF?
1548 4QD teletalk //702 slightly delayed 1356UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter) lots of near audio here

585 648 855 819 918 936 1008 1026 1035 1143 1323 1386 1458 1494 1575 1593

best wishes,

Nick
