Doug,

The guy from PP&L came out of Albany. He was an older Ham and knew about
DXing. He said the noise did wipe out Portland enough that he had the
transformers checked and one was faulty and was repaired. The noise went
away. But I don't think he could have done much if the noise was
interfering with San Francisco or something. This was several year back.
This was up along Hy 101 500 feet away.
