Hi All,
On behalf of my twin who lives in New York (hi)
and also myself, I'd like to ask a few basic questions about DXing
for TA's.
Are TA split frequencies the same as TP's? ex. 738,
747, 756 ...??
In addition to AM mode, on weaker TP's, I often use
the sideband (LSB), a tight filter, ie 1.8, and tweek the passband offset to get
clear audio. Is this technique reasonable, or is there a better way. I
believe that Patrick does this also- perhaps sometimes, but uses a different
term for "passband".
What would be the top ten "first" TA's to try
for?
What time ET and UTC, should a DX'er begin trying
for TA's and when should he give up? (hi)
Any other tips welcome...
