Re: [IRCA] [DXFlorida] Re: Wobbler 620

Paul,

620 may have worn out its wobble, whole thing melted down to a gurgling
puddle at the moment -- 0412Z.

No chance at a 640 mumble authentication, WJNA Royal Palm Beach has seen
to that, bringing massive nostalgia to a reminiscing world.

Well Curt -

Wobbler hitting SW FL.. 620 TPA dominant, wobbling beneath, rising to par
w/TPA. As you describe, sheet metal sound. Circa 1959, WBZ TV aired amateur
hour, "Community Auditions'. Large well-nourished impeccably dressed gent
made music by flexing a handsaw. Not bad. What do I know? Same sound as Don
Fido's wobbler.

640 Progreso, Guanabacoa still sounding like Thanksgiving when Aunt Glutz
guzzled so much Night Train she stuffed Pa's stoma instead of the Turkey.
Announcer sounds like he's bound, gagged, and jammed into closet three rooms
distant in a Lonsdale flophouse.

Good opportunity to DF poor-relation Progresos.
