Re: [IRCA] Drake R8A MW listening

My antenna is from NWantennas, configured as a sort of inverted L.

The thing that was night and day was that all the noise suddenly
disappeared.

I'm in a stucco house with lots of electronics and lights, and
it's often very noisy, and my ground wire is too long and too
near the house, so there's lots of noise.

I thought I might have blanked out the noise with some
combination of switches that I couldn't recreate. I don't
understand what the switches do until I see them do it.

The noise disappears for local stations and anything with decent
reception above 5000 khz comes in very well.

Yes, I'm dxing from Ithaca.

Does the Kiwa loop work as well as its reputation?
