Here in Kansas City, I haven't noticed any change
in WBBM's signal through early mornings. They boom in just fine until some SS
takes over the channel around 6 a.m. From: irca-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:irca-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of N0UIHEric@xxxxxxx Sent: Friday, July 29, 2005 11:17 PM To: irca@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [IRCA] IBOC receiver article in NYT today Another set of concocted lies put about by the IBOC supporters. Take a look
at WBBM 780 Chicago. Before going IBOC, WBBM had a decent signal into St. Louis
during the daytime, even with 1 kW daytimer WEW blasting away on 770. Now, I can
barely hear the station. I think it's time for the broadcast industry to give up
on IBOC, and confine digital broadcasting to XM and Sirius Satellite
Radio.
