Since I first heard them this morning start after 0700 I don't know for sure if they are
on 24 hours per day, but I assumed they are daytime only. We will have to listen
tonight to make sure

Good question. I don't know, but I know iBuiquity's Hedquarters is in the Washington
Area, so perhaps they gave some receivers to people to listen. FYI, there is a
another station, WKDL 730 in the DC area that has IBOC, and they are daytime only.
A third station on 1670 is testing in Frederick Maryland.

I have heard them years ago on an old valve/tube set from the '40s. The 3'x3' box loop antenna did help! Thanks for the clarification. If they are digital ! days only that is not so bad for us on this side of "The Pond." I would have thought the owners of the 1490 and 1510 stations would be talking to their lawyers or are they WTOP properties?
