I have to correct and extend what I said in my previous post.
Now at 3:30pm ET, I am still getting the test tone, weak on 1100 and also stronger on 910, and Wobblers on 930, 620, AND 1100. A fourth Cuban regular down here, on 920, has a low growling tone that varies up an down slightly about once a second, with no discernable audio. Daytime conditions make it difficult to sort things out.

Mike & Steve,
I still have the tone on 1100 at 2:00pm ET. Normally I would be getting a Cuban, but it is not there, so that would make me suspect that's who has the tone on. Taken from the 2005 WRTH, this is most likely CMCH 1kW, Radio Cadena Habana, La Habana, Ciudad Habana, Cuba. There's another 1kW on 1100, but it is on the west end of the island, much farther from me.
Lately, this has been a very strong Wobbler frequency, but right now there is no SS and no Wobbler. It will be interesting to note if after what looks like testing, the Wobbler will be gone. That would certainly help in the quest to nail down what the thing is. I'll keep listening.

I just listened and the frequency is dominated by WTAM, but I can hear a tone
along with them and it is pretty strong. It is now 0559 CST 1159Z
