[IRCA] Aurora, Again, 11/9
Per NASA Space Weather, everything's all messed up, hi, and things should
continue into 11/9. I haven't had time to actually DX, but a note and
observation....
On the 6 PM news of 11/8, the Aurora Borealis was reportedly
sighted in rural areas about 100 miles north of Jacksonville during the
late PM of 11/7 - this is not normal!
Traveling today (guess yesterday, Monday) around 1 PM, 1620-1690
was very active - 1630 and 1660 (Charlotte) were strong, and stations were
noted on the other frequencies, though I didn't try and ID them.
Conspicuously absent was the Dumbo Station on 1650 which is usually heard
with a fair to poor signal. Not certain who was there, but twas country music.
