All the list,
KGBC-AM 1540kHz is located in Galveston, "Ground Zero" for Hurricane Ike in September, 2008. This adds to the long-standing BBC World Service presence on KUHF (88.7) and KPFT (90.1) on the FM dial in Houston. The World Radio Network has used KTRU-FM (91.7) in the past, placing among other broadcasters, Radio Netherlands and Radio Australia on the Houston airwaves.
I'm very suprised that the current owner of KGBC would become a Medium Wave relay for what many of us remember as Radio Peking or Radio Beijing. The KGBC I remember listening to was a full-service station for the city of Galveston and Galveston County.
