Re: [Swprograms] Interesting quote from Kai Ludwig via DXLD regarding NPR

As NPR is to VOA and CBC-1 is to RCI, I find that local radio via the internet is more interesting than network radio in general. It is as close to teletransportation as our technology currently permits.

The one exception is local UK radio compared to BBC World Service. There is no better single source of world news in my opinion.

Local call-in programs are an excellent way to discern how Joe Sixpack feels about current events and issues.

So I will continue to wander the internet until someday possibly I'll be able to say, "Beam me over Scotty!"
