WORLD OF RADIO 1425 SUMMARY:
*CFRX, Toronto, 6070 kHz, back on air after two years, at first off-
frequency [and then with modulation lacking]; just as we predicted,

*Mixing product on 6390 in Japanese at 0200 is NHK via Sackville 5960
leapfrogging over Vietnam via Sackville on 6175

but look for it anyway

Delano; we might need shortwave again

Revolucionario Democrático Cubano; jammed anyway
*New station in Florida on 1550, WNZF, Bunnell, Flagler County, runs
day power at night when hurricanes threat, so may be widely heard.
Try for it as you try for ZNS, Bahamas, 1540
*Hurricane Ike briefly diminished Cuban jamming; and other anomalies
*Does anyone recognize who originated or used as radio slogan among
Cuban exiles years ago, ``Sin libertad, la vida nada vale`` (Without
freedom, life is worth nothing)?
