I was pleased and anything but surprised to hear John's letter read on
Radio Netherlands recently. They also published an excerpt of his
comments (seen below) on the web at

Radio Netherlands in-house media specialist, Andy Sennitt, has been
sparking quite a bit of post these days with his article "Deal or No
Deal". Some are thrilled with the new platforms to listen to Radio
Netherlands, like this letter from John Figliozzi, from Halfmoon, New
York in the USA:

"I, for one (and believe I speak for many), am very happy to have RNW
news and programs available to me across several platforms, including
shortwave, podcast and WRN on Sirius. The addition of the new
platforms makes it possible for me to hear RNW in my car, on the
train, in flight -as well as at home. While I fully understand the
challenge this presents to a broadcaster that Andy points out, I think
RNW has pulled it off fabulously, to date"
