Radio 4's "Crossing Continents" is a very good documentary
series...episodes are archived for on-demand listening.
Should be interesting listening!

Subject: BBC Radio 4's Crossing Continents reports from British Columbia:
Thursday, 5 April 2007 at 1102 BST
On Crossing Continents this Thursday:
The premier of British Columbia is planning to implement the toughest
measures to combat climate change in North America.
He wants 90% clean energy, a dramatic reduction in carbon emissions, and is
pioneering eco-friendly housing.
But as Julian Pettifer reports for Crossing Continents this week, the
premier's backing of a motorway expansion project has led to accusations of
hypocrisy.
You can hear Julian's report on Thursday, 5 April 2007 at 1102 BST on BBC
Radio 4. The programme will be repeated on Monday, 9 April at 2030 BST.
