[Swprograms] Fwd: [uk-radio-listeners] Webchat with Radio 4 controller

Fans of spoken-word programming might enjoy the chat transcript Mike
Barraclough refers to below. Of particular personal interest was the
mention that podcasting has been positively received by
listeners...boding well for its increase.

BTW - if you appreciate the World Service podcasts I suggest you drop
a line via the WS comments page,
http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/us/contact/index.shtml

Comments are truly appreciated by nearly all international
broadcasters, because many of them feel they are talking into
nothingness...a vacuum...

By the way, those of us who write in magazines / club publications
often feel the same way.

There's the script of a webchat with Radio 4 controller Mark Damazer
answering listeners questions about Radio 4's future plans.
