Most mentions of BPL in the popular press nowadays seem better attuned
to the fact there are technological impediments to its broad
introduction due to radio interference.
Each week Newsweek magazine has a short "Ask the Tech Guy" Q&A column;
in the edition on newsstands this week, the question is about BPL.
The tech guy says that BPL does indeed hold promise, but the tech guys
added a "however, it interferes with radio..." proviso. The answer
did not specify the type of radio, to our collective credit -- the
interference was not marginalized to SWLing or amateur radio.
