Ted is 100% right here. The BBC's sports output is dropping off the radar screen. The loss of the Saturday transmission of Sportsworld is the biggest blow yet. Despite their claims that more people can access their programs the decision they took to drop the mid day transmission to the Americas has devistated the sports out put. Many will say who cares? But the point is that the BBC no longer has the diversity of programs they once did and have cut off large parts of their audience from hearing anything but news. Way back when, there used to be another one at 2245, but that's been gone even longer. The only 15- minute Sports Roundup I can find is for Africa at 1745. And of course, we here in NAm can hardly listen to Saturday Sportsworld either.... -- Ted <fedya at bestweb dot net> Lisa, if you donât like your job you donât strike. You just go in there every day and do it really half-assed. Thatâs the American way. --Homer Simpson _______________________________________________ Swprograms mailing list Swprograms@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://dallas.hard-core-dx.com/mailman/listinfo/swprograms To unsubscribe: Send an E-mail to swprograms-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe, or visit the URL shown above.
