30 years ago it would be rare to see a televised home game in any sport, except for baseball on Sundays. Some things have changed over the years, but professional sports is still an annoyingly greedy institution. /rant on: if I were czar, I'd force any team that wanted public help with any stadium project to transfer ownership of the team logo & likeness to the municipal entity funding the stadium project.
