[Swprograms] Somewhat OT: newspapers competing with radio via podcasts

Interesting item in today's WSJ.

Newspapers and magazines are beginning to produce audio versions of
their content for MP3 downloading. Production quality ranges from
someone simply reading printed material (yawn) to more of a radio
feel, with interviews of reporters and newsmakers.

Some of these are shoestring operations, others more professional.

Some of the more respected publications out there (e.g. Washington
Post, Business Week, Forbes) are part of this early experimental
effort.

Interesting reading if you have access to the WSJ online --

The one publication I'd like to see do this is The Economist.
