If you are a listener to YesterdayUSA, you are already aware of this; if
not, please let me bring you up to speed.
A young boy, Sean in central Pennsylvania was recently diagnosed with
'septic shock' where some form of bacteria
entered his small body. His legs and arms turned blue, and, this
literally stunned the doctors as to what occured.
For brevity sake, I can tell you the cause of his limbs turning blue was
from his blood vessels bursting thru his body.
Sean is a soccer player, he loves old time radio's "Superman". He has an
older brother, Patrick, who as his mom Carol
says is Sean's 'best friend'.
Sean is facing the horror of on May 6, 2005 losing a leg below his
ankle, and part of one of his arms in a 6 hour ordeal
on the operating table. Sean's parent, his brother, his whole family,
and thousands are praying for him. There's not
not much else we can do; but we cannot let litle Sean feel alone. I
lived thru 2 amputations, and kept my smile on my
face, but, I was not a little 9 year old who had his life in front of
him. His kidneys have just begun to function again
to a small degree.
Thus, I ask you 2 things. 1 is to pray for this courageous little boy,
and 2, to send a get well message- no email cards please-
to getwellsean@xxxxxxxxxxx and I will be fowarding them to Yesterday USA
radio and in turn to his dad.
In todays day and age where you hear more bad news daily about what kids
are doing- here's a young boy, who is a good kid,
does nothing wrong, and, now is battles for his life.
Again I ask you send a message to Sean at getwellsean@xxxxxxxxxxx ; it need
not be a long verse, just a few words of encouraging for him.
