Another program of "Music and Musicians" is due on the air on Christmas
Day, December 25. This is naturally a grand occasion for "delicacies",
and judge for yourselves if these are "tasty": a violin by Stradivarius
himself, called "Russia's Empress", which has been on a visit to Russia
recently; unique recording from Russia's only PRIVATE museum of music,
in Yaroslavl. A concert by Russia's most extravagant performer Mark
Pekarsky, - opera of King Alfonse the Wise, sounds from a 17th century
Dutch post office and many other charming "trifles". 
So be sure to tune in to "Christmas Music Delicacies" in the Voice of
Russia World Service on Saturday, December 25, at 1810 UTC. The program
will be repeated on Sunday, December 26, at 0410, 1810, and 2110 UTC.
