Re: [Swprograms] Changes to Sirius BBC Stream?

Yep -- the PRI feed to US public radio stations is slightly different from
both the Americas (Shortwave/XM) and the Sirius (all news) feeds.

Compare the differences here:

Sandy, you make a good point -- Canada has clearly been underserved since
7/2001 in the availability of the World Service. According to the BBC
website, CJRT FM has an hour on Sundays from 1300 to 1400 UT (8 AM - 9 AM
ET), but the CJRT doesn't show this; they insteady show three 5-minute
newscasts weekdays at 1200, 1300 and 1400 UT.

Somewhat amusingly, if you type in "Winnipeg" into the schedule finder, the
web site returns the Americas shortwave schedule, but every entry then reads
"Not available on short wave [sic]".

If they are successful, this would help with the BBC WS coverage as well as
making CBC Radio 1 available here in the USA.

because of the loss of the Sackville relay and that loss has not been made
up by local radio.
