You may remember that part of WRMI's air time was taken up by the IBC Radio
Network, a "penny stock" company that seemed to be in the business
of...well...promoting penny stocks, with programs about the paranormal and
international broadcasting relays (now there's a combination for you) rounding
out their schedule.
IBC's shortwave presence was checkered...they implied they were interested
in extensive use of shortwave, then abruptly disappeared from the air, instead
announcing a sketchy plan to be on the local broadcast bands.
Now they're apparently back on 7330 khz 24/7 according to their own
website...but nothing was audible above noise here in Eastern PA at 0340 UT on 6
April.
Turns out they're also apparently building out a bunch of low power (FCC
Part 15, 100 mW) AM stations to be set up in the Philadelphia region, according
to Scott Fybush's "Northeast Radio News" (see http://www.fybush.com/NERW/2004/040329/nerw.html#pa),
with 1610 kHz as their planned frequency.
Check their website at http://www.ibcradio.com for updates.
