Subject: [Swlfest] *Important* Administrative announcement - t i n y u r ldomain shortcuts are no longer allowed

Risto Kotalampi, who graciously hosts the swprograms and swlfest lists, has asked us to stop posting t i n y u r l based URL shortcuts.  Apparently malware has been propagated by some who have used the t i n y u r l domain name to avoid blacklisted domains.

Risto uses a service that guards against blacklisted domains, so this means we'll have to use new services.

It appears that http://makeashorterlink.com is OK.  Another that may be ok is snipurl, see http://snipurl.com/.

Any questions, please let me know.

Thanks for cooperating -
