[IRCA] TP 1 Sep Victoria version
Odd mixture of the usual suspects, New Zealand through to Japan and
Korea, acting erratically.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not quite
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK man in Japanese 1224UT
612 4QR man and woman DU English //774, 1330UT, channel had returned
to 3LO by now
774 3LO woman and man DU English //612, 1233UT
774 JOUB sudden fade up o/3LO 1243UT, man in Japanese; 3LO arguing
for a minute or so, then went away
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1053 Korean jammer 1214UT
1116 4BC assumed, sudden fade up of woman in DU English, apparently
news, 1302UT
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese, s/on announcement 1231UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
657//756 RNZ National, woman and man talking, neither very strong 1310UT
702 woman, DU English inflection 1225UT
738 pop music 1259UT
828 JOBB Japanese woman //774 1259UT
837 JOQK man then woman talking, poor level, 1311UT //594
891 man talking, another man on phone, sounded like DU English? 1304UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
